Kareena Kapoor Khan makes a case for sage green in a concept sari by Tarun Tahiliani

Powder pastels like blue, blush pink, and mint green have moved from outliers to becoming staples in ethnic wear. Case in point: Kareena Kapoor Khan's custom sage-green concept sari by Tarun Tahiliani. His new Spring/Summer 2025 collection features embroidered lehengas, concept saris, jumpsuits, and sharara sets, most bathed in pastel tones.

Kareena Kapoor Khan's look was embellished with sequins, pearls, and threadwork on Chantilly lace, paired with a corset-style blouse featuring a sweetheart neckline. The actor chose classic soft waves and a winged liner for her hair and makeup. An emerald and diamond choker added the finishing touches.

Kapoor Khan has often made a statement in pastel outfits. Recall her pastel pink top and sharara pants in the famous song Bole Chudiyan from Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham (2001), or her recent custom white and silver Manish Malhotra lehenga paired with a sheer cape for Lakmē Fashion Week’s gala night. Another signature in her style playbook is her love for chokers—she frequently pairs her ensembles with bold necklaces.
