In a sea of gorgeous Ganesh Chaturthi looks served to us by Bollywood celebrities, another one that really caught our eye was former Miss India, Neha Dhupia. The actor, styled by Ayesha Khanna, was in a gorgeous rani pink sari from Raw Mango, which seemed like the perfect outfit for festivities. Dhupia’s chanderi sari is a combination of organza silk and plain silk, the former gives it a plush, airy and whimsical feel. The sari featured intricate bel motifs in a zardozi embroidery. Dhupia paired the Aria sari with a rani pink-hued blouse with a jewel neck. The chic sari becomes a statement piece in this case and due to its minimalist embroidery, is perfect for all occasions, especially festive. To let the vibrant colour of the sari be the star of the show and avoid other elements from clashing with it, the actor kept her hair and makeup simple.

For her makeup, the actor went for a nude look while drawing focus to her eyes with dusty pink eyeshadow on the lids, and underlining of the lower line with kohl. She paired it with a sleek centre-parted bun and a gajra, which has recently picked up as a trend. She kept her jewellery minimalist with floral studs featuring semi-precious stones.

Sanjay Garg’s Raw Mango has become a particular favourite of Bollywood celebrities over the years from Kareena Kapoor to Aditi Rao Hydari. Recently, Sobhita Dhulipala’s character in Season 2 of the show, Made in Heaven, was spotted in an olive chanderi sari that she paired with a burgundy blouse. The combination quickly became a fan-favourite. However, the brand name has become synonymous with the rani pink colour. The brand which was started in 2008, focuses on mostly chanderi and Varanasi brocade, and has gained immense popularity over the years, due to its clothes that are rooted in craftsmanship and handloom. Each piece of cloth feels like an heirloom piece and promotes the livelihood of artisans.
