From a 16-panel off-white and gold anarkali on Kiara Advani to a repurposed lehenga from ancient brocade saris on Sara Ali Khan—the weekend was packed with festive wear offerings thanks to the Ambanis Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations and celebrities' own. Here’s who wore what over the weekend.

Sonam Kapoor Ahuja

“Draped in the vibrance of red, adorned with the elegance of alta, and feeling the rhythm of ‘Rangeela Re’” wrote Kapoor-Ahuja in her Instagram post as she shared a peek behind the inspiration of her ensemble. She wore a red crimson crushed silk ensemble from Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla's unreleased couture collection. The outfit featured a lehenga, churidar, and a backless blouse with intricately beaded latkans. Her braided hair was subtly accessorised, and her colourful alta and traditional anklets gave the ensemble the perfect finish.

Panday turned heads in a bejewelled golden sari by Tarun Tahiliani from his otherworldly 2024 couture collection. Her monochrome look sparkled with sequins, beads, and crystals in dazzling gold, while pops of emerald in her jewellery added a touch of glam. Elephant motif bangles by Kalamandir Jewellers, Amrapali Jewels bag, necklace from Birdhichand, and Vasundhara Raj rings were perfect accessorising choices.

The intricate zari embroidery added a touch of opulence, while the flowing silhouette brought all the drama. Advani paired her anarkali with a traditional Banarasi tissue dupatta and accessorised with earrings from Manish Malhotra Jewellery and a delicate white flower gajra upon a sleek bun.
