Founded five years ago by jewellery designer and former Mont Blanc alum, Mrinalini Chandra, the eponymous label is best known for pioneering the trend of customised kalire—it began as early as 2014, presenting its collection at Lakmè Fashion Week. Today, the brand has become a celebrity favourite, with stars like Sonam Kapoor Ahuja and Priyanka Chopra both opting to have their bridal kalire crafted by the designer. “We chose our signature peacock kalire for Sonam as a dedication to her ethereal personality. Priyanka’s kalire included many motifs inspired by her and her husband Nick Jonas’ love story,” explains Chandra.

Each of the label’s designs are handmade in silver alloys, before being dipped in 24-carat gold. “I personally design and take the lead in developing fully customised kalire as per a client’s theme or story,” says Chandra. “These are out-of-the-box couture kalire, made from a sketch. We also offer ready-made options with our signature motifs and styles, which can be attached to a bangle,” she adds.
